Workshop ‘Learn about Kashiwanoha Campus Area’ 2017

The second ‘Workshop to Learn about Kashiwanoha Campus Area’ was held on July 10, 2017.

This workshop focused on short stay foreigners.

During the first half of the program, we heard from Mitsui Fudosan, UDCK, and the Kashiwa City Office about their current efforts in the area as well as what they have been working on since the last workshop. The second half, we heard from short-term visitors about their first impressions of Kashiwanoha, what they think could be improved, and what direction they would like to see Kashiwanoha move towards in the future.

  • Location :           KOIL ( Lalaport North Building / Office Building 6th Floor)

 

Part 1 – Introduction of Current Efforts

1) UDCK introduced their efforts to internationalize the Kashiwa-no-ha Campus Area.

2) Mitsui Fudosan introduced their efforts to promote regional development.

3) Kashiwa City Office introduced public services available to International Residents.

 

Part 2 – Open Discussion

Heard from short – term international students

Topics Discussed 

  1. First impression of the Kashiwanoha Area
  2. Environment they think can be improved
  3. Features of Kashiwanoha campus area that attract international people.
