Regarding the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), considering that the infection is spreading worldwide, the government has taken steps to: (1) strengthen quarantine, (2) restrict the arrival of flights to Narita International Airport and Kansai International Airport (3) suspend single or multiple entry visas that have already been issued, with respect to China, and the Republic of Korea.

1. All persons entering Japan from China or Republic of Korea by aircraft or other means, including persons without symptoms of illness, will be requested to stay for 14 days at a place designated by the Quarantine Station Chief (such as their homes), and not to use public transportation for any purpose, including transport from airports, etc.

○ Be sure that a 14-day quarantine and non use of public transportation (if requested) will not interfere with your itinerary after you enter Japan.
