Travel and Re-entry

When planning to leave Japan temporarily, please review the GSFS official website’s “Procedures for Traveling Abroad” and GSFS Portal Site’s “Overseas travel, study abroad, and temporary return of international students” section.

Before traveling abroad or for international students visiting their home country, you are required to fill out an online form for Notification of Overseas Travel/Temporary Return. The forms are available on the GSFS Portal Site mentioned above (log in with UTokyo Account required). Before submitting the form, ensure you have obtained approval from your supervisor.

This procedure is crucial for all students studying at GSFS, as it enables the University to respond appropriately to emergency situations. Therefore, please ensure you complete this process before traveling outside of Japan.
